Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Valor Property Management collects when you join the Poway Paseo priority list, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Valor Property Management (“Valor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and the Poway Paseo priority list. Poway Paseo is a community under construction in Poway, California.

What this policy covers
This policy covers information collected through this website. It does not cover information collected offline, in a leasing office, through a rental application, or by any other company whose website you reach from a link here.
This website is informational. Joining the priority list is not an application, a reservation, a lease, or an offer to lease, and it does not create any tenancy or obligation for you or for us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The only information this website asks you for is:
- Your email address, which is required to join the priority list.
- An optional home-type interest, selected after you submit: one bedroom, two bedroom, townhome, live-work, restaurant or retail space, or not sure yet.
- An optional timeframe, selected after you submit: within six months, six to twelve months, or just exploring.
- An optional free-text note, shown only to people inquiring about restaurant or retail space, describing the concept and the size of space needed.
Every field after the email address is optional and can be skipped. We also record which form you used, so we can tell a residential inquiry from a commercial one, and the date and time you joined.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, the service that receives it (Cloudflare) records technical information that comes with any internet request, including your IP address, browser type, and the page you submitted from.
If website analytics are enabled ({{ANALYTICS_PROVIDER}}), we record anonymous interaction events such as a form being viewed, a submission succeeding, and which optional selections were chosen. These events are used in aggregate to understand which parts of the page are working. They are not used to build a profile of you.
This website sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing on your device.
Information we do not collect
This website does not ask for and is not designed to receive:
- Your name, mailing address, or telephone number
- Social Security numbers or government identification numbers
- Financial account, payment card, income, credit, or banking information
- Rental, employment, or criminal history
- Any characteristic protected by fair housing law, as described in the next section
Please do not send any of the above through this website. If you do, we may delete it. Information needed to evaluate an actual rental application, if and when applications open, will be collected separately through an application process with its own disclosures.
Fair housing
Poway Paseo is an Equal Housing Opportunity community. Valor Property Management complies with the federal Fair Housing Act, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Unruh Civil Rights Act, and all other applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
We do not ask about protected characteristics
Nothing on this website requests information about race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, primary language, immigration status, source of income, disability, medical condition, genetic information, age, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Please do not send us that information.
If information is volunteered, we do not act on it
The optional note in the restaurant and retail flow is an open text box. If something you write there happens to reveal a protected characteristic, we do not record it as a category, and we do not use it for any purpose related to housing.
Your selections are used only to send you relevant information. The home type and timeframe you choose are used to decide which floor plans, pricing, and tour dates to send you and when. They are never used to screen, qualify, rank, steer, limit, or determine eligibility for any home, and they are never treated as a statement about who you are or who would live with you.
How priority list order is determined
Position on the priority list is determined solely by the date and time an email address was added. It is not influenced by any selection you make, by any characteristic protected by law, or by any other factor.
All homes at Poway Paseo are available to all qualified persons on the same terms, regardless of protected characteristics.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- Send you floor plans, pricing, availability, tour dates, and construction updates for Poway Paseo
- Decide which of those updates are relevant to you, based on the optional selections you made
- Respond to a commercial space inquiry, including passing it to the leasing broker described below
- Understand, in aggregate, how the website is performing
- Protect the website against spam and abuse
- Comply with the law and enforce our terms
We do not use this information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to Poway Paseo.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not rent or trade mailing lists. We have not done so in the twelve months before the effective date of this policy.
Cookies, analytics, and Do Not Track
This website sets no cookies of its own and does not use local storage. Any analytics or form service we use may set its own cookies or record technical information as described above.
Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so this website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity across different websites through this site.
Your choices
Leaving the list. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click removes you. You can also email valor@valorpropmgmt.com and ask to be removed, and we will do it.
Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email valor@valorpropmgmt.com from the address you signed up with, or write to us at the address in section one. We will respond within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for asking.
Skipping the optional questions. Every question after the email address can be skipped, and skipping changes nothing about your position on the list or the information you receive.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used and disclosed, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Not every business is subject to that law. Whether or not we are, we will honor requests to know, correct, and delete as described in section ten. To make a request, email valor@valorpropmgmt.com. We may need to verify that you control the email address in question before we act. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code section 1798.83 lets California residents request information about personal information disclosed to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
How long we keep information
We keep priority list information for 5 years, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. After the Poway Paseo lease-up is complete, we delete or de-identify list information that we no longer need, except where we are required to keep records longer by law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information this website collects, and we work with established service providers who maintain their own security programs.
No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you provide information through this website at your own risk.
Links to other websites
This website may link to sites we do not operate, including those of leasing brokers and service providers. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before giving them information.
Age
This website and the priority list are intended for adults who are legally able to enter into a lease. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email valor@valorpropmgmt.com and we will delete it.
This section is about who submits information through this website. It is not a statement about who may live in a home at Poway Paseo. Poway Paseo is an Equal Housing Opportunity community and households of every composition are welcome.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the project moves forward or as the law changes. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page and post the revised policy here. If the change is significant, we will say so in an email to the priority list. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the revised policy.
